Welcoming and Naming Ceremonies

"I'm such a water is life and sacred ceremony kind of soul that it makes sense to welcome a child with blessings and water. I was baptized multiple times, first as an infant in the Catholic Church, then by choice as an adolescent in the Church of Christ, and again when stepping onto my Magdalene Rose path. Each has a special meaning for me. I'd love to help make your little one's journey special and I'm sending you all the best energy for a loving and joyful life."

Reiki
Treatments

Reiki is a Japanese technique used to reduce stress and promote relaxation and healing of the physical, mental and etheric body. Our etheric body is deeply connected to our physical body. It has ties to our physical health, our bodily sensations, including pain and pleasure. Reiki aids in healing by helping people become energetically balanced.

Reiki promotes symptom relief to improve overall health by bringing on a meditative state which relieves pain and tension and promotes natural healing. It can help with tissue and bone healing after injury or surgery and stimulates your body’s immune system. It has also been reported to support the well-being of people receiving traditional medical treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and kidney dialysis.

People who receive Reiki treatments regularly report feelings of peace, relaxation, security and emotional and physical wellness.

Reiki complements other types of medical and therapeutic treatments, and it can increase the efficacy of those treatments. I personally recovered quickly from multiple surgeries by using Reiki. If you’re already in good health, Reiki may even enhance your ability to respond to stress and serve as a form of preventive medicine.

Reiki works on the entire self and because it's universal life force energy. It works in all types of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. Most people feel relaxed and peaceful during reiki treatment, and many fall asleep during the process. I personally only give reiki from a place of overflow, meaning I've done my spiritual maintenance and am in alignment to channel this energy for another.

Sound Baths, Tuning Forks and Vibrationional Healing

Vibrational Sound Bath healing frequency immersion relaxation stress reduction attunement recalibration

A sound bath is a full-body, relaxing and meditative experience of listening to sounds, frequencies and synchronous vibrations. The practice is often referred to as sound healing or sound therapy. I use a range of instruments for my healing sound baths, including therapeutic crystal and Tibetan singing bowls that bathe you in sound and vibration.  Koshi chimes that come in and surround you in peace, ushering in new thoughts, feelings and clarity. The gong and wave drums deeply ground and provide a safe and relaxed environment for the body to begin to allow healing to begin. It's an experience to revitalize body, mind and soul with fresh energy.

You might feel vibrations in the body or a light tingling of the hands as you relax. These are signs the body is responding to the experience. From this relaxed state you have a foundation for the body to release stress. When we can reduce the stress and really relax, we can let our systems rebalance, our emotions settle and just be. In this relaxed flow of energy the body begins to respond positively. The bi-products are generally feeling better, more rested, less achy, more optimistic. Sound baths are a meditative practice to bring you back into alignment with your flow state. A sound bath can be easier than other meditative practices because it doesn’t require a lot of discipline and can have a positive effect for weeks.

Sound baths may also help treat mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety. Researchers found that tension, anxiety, and negative moods decreased significantly after receiving sound sessions. Analysis also found that heart rate and other vitals that indicate anxiety improved in those who were given sound treatments. Of course, they're not a replacement for medication or therapy with a licensed mental health provider when treating anxiety or depression. It's a complimentary, holistic treatment aimed at improving your overall energy, mood and wellness.

The Shamanic Way

Spirit, Earth, Medicine

Shamanic healings are about energetic renewal and soul alignment by engaging with the spirit world for the needed medicine. This ancient form of healing is being brought forward and available in the mainstream by the shamans of today. When I first began my healing journey, I wanted to work with a shaman. I was fortunate to find someone in my area. During that process I became aware of a growing movement of shamanic initiates and knew I was here to help be a bridge for this type of work. I first stepped into my shamanic path and then onto my rose path, which has enriched and anchored this type of spirit medicine within me.

These are ancient forms of healing that many of us have remembrance, reverence or simply wish to experience now.

In our fast-paced world, it's easy to overlook the importance of tending to your holistic well-being, your body, your mind, your emotions, your energy field and vibration. I get it, it's a lot to tend, particularly the subtle realms. Being lost from these connections is what causes our dis-eases and dissatisfaction.

Have you ever felt like parts of yourself were missing, separated or trapped?

Soul loss or fragmentation is a common byproduct of our experiences, which can leave our energy fragmented or stuck in declining loops that are painful and harmful. I am prepared to hold space for this type of healing ceremony.

I consider this a ceremony and treat it as such and there are some protocols which I will review during consultation.

Meditation &
Mindfulness Practice

Meditation and mindfulness are not the same thing, but they complement each other and have similar qualities. Meditation is the practice of focusing your attention, and mindfulness is the conscious awareness of the present moment and how we respond.

In meditation, we become an impartial observer of our minds without judgment. Although meditation has spiritual origins, and some use it as a religious or spiritual practice, it's not religious and is used around the world. You can experience the powerful benefits of meditation in your life, regardless of any or no religious beliefs.

Meditation is not about emptying your mind. Our brains are constantly firing, whether we want them to or not. It's also not about getting rid of all of your negative thoughts and emotions. It's about sitting with your thoughts and feelings, acknowledging them,

and then letting them pass through your system and letting them go. It's a process of rewiring and training your brain to notice your thoughts as they come in and begin to more quickly untether the unhelpful ones. Initially, you'll do a lot of tending and over time, we need to do less and less.

Meditation helps you realize your thoughts are not facts, nor do they need to control you. Through meditation and mindfulness, you can learn to reprogram your brain into focusing the majority of your thought trains towards your holistic wellness and elevated vibration.

There are dozens of ways to learn to meditate with some of the benefits being:

  • Reduced anxiety over time

  • Reduced stress levels and triggers

  • Improved problem-solving skills

  • Lowered blood pressure

  • Pain reduction

  • Increased motivation

  • Clear vision and deepened relationship with the authentic self

With mindfulness, you bring all your attention to the present moment, for instance:

  • Feeling the bodily sensations of water on the skin or how your muscles feel as you move

  • Listening to others without feeling the need to interject

  • Not overreacting to a wrong driver or driving better yourself

  • Giving your family, children, and pets quality time and attention

  • Asking your body what it needs vs. what you want

  • Hearing the sounds of the birds chirping or trees rustling outside

  • Feelings of positivity when expressing gratitude

Through the breath is how I like to begin a practice. There is so much energy in the way we breathe. We cannot function without our breath and by focusing here we can easily direct our awareness and move into a meditative state.

Whether it be through a breathing meditation, a moving meditation, a loving-kindness meditation, a body scan meditation, walking, or guided meditation, does not matter. What matters is showing up for yourself and learning to develop a practice that best serves your idea of wellness.

Hypnosis healing the subconscious remembrance past lives future visualization

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is another great tool, proven effective for Behavior Modification, and can help with weight loss, smoking cessation, pain management, surgery preparation, PTSD, ADD/ADHD, inner wound healing, past life regression and many other problems we experience. It works by inducing an altered state of consciousness caused by little more than the power of suggestion to help facilitate behavioral and emotional change.

Hypnosis allows you to be more open to suggestions towards healthy changes in your perceptions, sensations, emotions, memories, thoughts or behaviors. A trained hypnotherapist will induce a state of deep relaxation by using auditory, visual, or other perceptual cue, repetition and imagery. When you’re under hypnosis, this intense level of concentration and focus allows you to ignore ordinary distractions and be more open to guided suggestions to make changes to improve your health.

Most people remember everything that happens during hypnosis. You remain aware of who you are, where you are and remember what happened during a hypnosis session. It’s a safe and gentle path to making a fast shift and is a great type of mind-body medicine. I am trained in hypnosis and enjoy using this modality with those drawn to it.
